Latest School News from Priddy & St Lawrence’s

Our News!
Thank you to all children, parents and staff for helping to make this year at Priddy & St Lawrence's fantastic! Have a great Summer holiday and we will see you back on Monday September 5th! Congratulations to all of our children on an amazing Federation performance. We have had a fabulous 'Lion King' themed creative week in which children have printed, sculpted, explored modern art, and fine drawing skills as well as design and outdoor art! The children in Year 5 & 6 at Priddy & St Lawrence's visited The Tower of London, The London Eye, had a boat trip on The River Thames, visited Trafalgar Square and The Science Museum as well as The Lyceum Theatre to see The Lion King. We have had an amazing time and the children have been a credit to the Federation! Year 6 children visited Woodlands this week. They raised funds through an enterprise project in both schools for the trip! Sports Day at St Lawrence's was amazing last week - This week it's Priddy's turn!

Link with Iraq
We have written letters and drawn pictures to explain about life in our school's with the aim of giving hope and friendship to the refugee children. At Priddy we have had our first live link-up with the children in Iraq and asked them interesting questions about their lives! Please click on the link to see the BBC Somerset report:
